Who is eligible for the First Home Owner Grant?
The Australian Government has a clear list of eligibility requirements for the First Home Owner Grant. While it’s important to check the official website or speak with our specialists for the most up-to-date information, here’s a general overview of the typical eligibility criteria:
At least one applicant must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
The property must serve as the principal place of residence (PPR) for at least one applicant.
None of the applicants can have previously received a First Home Owner Grant (FHOG).
The home must be brand new—never previously sold or occupied.
